Haris

Haris is 100% Nero D’Avola, which is a typical Sicilian grape, and it is the most famous Sicilian red grape around the World. It makes up for half of the vineyards in Sicily and although it didn’t historically find much recognition it’s now valued as a very high-quality standalone wine.

For our Haris (as well as for other wines we produce) we have obtained the D.O.C. Certificate, which is the highest qualification for wine in Italy.

The wine is garnet red, with a scent that ranges between black pepper and wet stones. The taste is fruity at first, with hints of black currant and berries, but it evolves towards a more earthy flavour with a persistent finish.

Best pairings: red meat, game meat, seasoned cheese, savoury meat-based dishes, charcuterie.
