Olewiger Retzgrub Großes Gewächs

The Olewiger retzgrub GG is a brilliant Riesling from un-grafted old vines. It was pressed with an old basket press before beeing fermented with ambient yeasts down to dry levels. It offers abeautiful smoky, clean and pure nose of white flowers, lemon, fresh white almond, orange zest, thyme, mint and bergamot. The wine is superbly airy and chiseled on the vpalate, with creamy and delicately floral elements coming through. The finish is pure, very spicy and vibrant in a very clear and pure style, fresh and dynamic. This is a wonderful bone-dry wine. 2026-2038
