In our vineyards, we produce high-quality organic wines – Chianti Classico and Super Tuscans – exclusively from our own grapes. We create fine wines with minimal environmental impact by using modern technologies and experimenting with precision agriculture techniques. In our winery, we have installed solar panels for energy production, and in the vineyards, we are experimenting with natural enzymes to strengthen the vines' immune system. Located in the green hills of Tuscany between Florence and Arezzo, Tenuta la Pineta was founded in 1985 by Giuseppe Scortecci, who was captivated by the enchanting landscape and the opportunity to create a hunting estate. The estate spans 110 hectares: 9 with vineyards, 4 with olive groves, 10 for sowing, and the remainder consists of forest. Our hilly landscapes are situated at an average altitude of 300 meters above sea level, and each crop is planted in the best soil in the most optimal microclimate to produce wines of the highest quality. The winery is completely surrounded and protected by forest. Although it has recently been renovated, it has been cultivated in the same spot for decades and is perfectly adapted to the soil and weather conditions.

Most of Skærsøgaard's wines have received medals at the annual EU-regulated Danish Wine Show since 2001. Additionally, since the 2006 vintage, the wines have garnered 157 prestigious international medals. The estate's owner, Sven Moesgaard, has worked for more than two decades with a passion for creating world-class wine. Especially the estate's sparkling wine has received great acclaim, which has resulted in Sven winning the prestigious title of "Sparkling Winemaker of the Year 2023" from the China Wine and Spirits Awards (CWSA).
